The
Colorado Marathon, Half Marathon, Point-to-Point 5K, 10K, and Kids Run
will take place on May 4, 2008.
The 2008 Marathon and Half Marathon have been CAPPED. Other races are filling quickly!
 
The Colorado Marathon, a Boston qualifier, is the fastest and most popular
marathon in Colorado. Please visit each race link above for specific race
details and fees associated with each event.
 
In order to register for each event, please visit the REGISTRATION
section. There will be no race day registration.
 
There is mandatory busing required for the Marathon and the Half Marathon.
Bus
information can be found in the BUSING
section.
 
There
will be clothing bins sorted by bib number located at the start of the
Marathon and Half Marathon that will be transported and available for
pick up at the finish.
The
race is not responsible for any items dropped along the course. Please,
no valuables or breakable items, and small bags would be appreciated.
 
There will be 12 aid stations on the Marathon course and 8 aid stations
on the Half Marathon course (the last 14.5 miles of the Marathon.)
They are located at the following Marathon mileage marks (approximate):
2.6 (The Rock Tunnel), 5.0 (Ouzel Day Use Area), 7.1 (Poudre Park),
10.1 (Raft Put In), 12.8 (Green Pipe), 15.3 (Guard Rail), 16.8
(Ted's Place), 19.1 (Bagel Hill), 21.4 (Lyon's Park), 23.2 (Taft
Hill), 24.2 (Shields), 25.2 (Lee Martinez).
Each
aid station will have water, HEED replacement drink, limited first
aid supplies, a portable toilet, and most all of them will have communication
to the finish and to the emergency medical system.
